Brain Awareness Week is taking place from the 12 – 18 March 2018, and unites the efforts of partner organisations worldwide in a celebration of the brain for people of all ages.

Brain awareness week (BAW) is an annual, global campaign which aims to increase the public’s awareness of current brain research - highlighting the benefits and importance of it.

This will include activites such as: A speed dating event allowing guests to interact with neuroscientists at various stages in their careers (Ph D students, postdocs, principal investigators, lecturers, and professors) in a speed dating style event with a slot of time at the end for networking over drinks and nibbles.

Newcastle Raising & Giving Society (RAG), is hosting its annual speed dating event on Tuesday 5th December.

RAG is famous around campus for their charitable events such as fashion shows and Take Me Out.
